When Dylan and I started working together he really thought he would be a renter for at least another year. However, he wanted to learn about home ownership and his options. After touring our 3rd home I asked him why he felt he needed to wait to purchase. He said it was because he felt he needed to save more money. I mentioned the programs that Philly offered which assisted with down payment costs; it seemed he would qualify for this money. He immediately pursued this and discovered he qualified, which provided the down payment money he needed to move sooner. Less than 60 days later, he was a homeowner.

This article highlights the process he went through with just a little help from a realtor that had the knowledge and wherewithal to guide him through the process.
